ABOUT MARK

MARK Kriegsman is a highly accomplished marketing, advertising and communications executive with extensive expertise in the healthcare, retail, banking, consumer and entertainment markets. A successful branding strategist, Kriegsman most recently launched and managed Baylor College of Medicine’s first branding campaign including television, radio, print, digital and out-of-home in a highly competitive marketplace. The effective branding campaign increased familiarity to 89 percent in year one.

Kriegsman’s advertising career includes stints at J. Walter Thompson, EvansGroup Advertising and Foote, Cone & Belding where as an account executive he managed a portfolio of clients including Health and Tennis Corp. of America, Security Pacific National Bank, MGM Home Classics, and more.

Having made his imprint on the agency side, Kriegsman moved in-house to Security Pacific Bank as VP of marketing for their direct response unit. Kriegsman had responsibility for retail banking communications and was liaison with the bank’s external agencies and suppliers. His signature accomplishment was leading corporate communications during the bank’s acquisition of a major competitor.

Later, Kriegsman joined PacifiCare Health Systems as VP of advertising and corporate communications. The largest HMO in California at the time, he served as advisor to C-level executives to identify and develop regional strategic advertising opportunities for the health systems family, HMO and Medicare plans. He was responsible for brand awareness, in-house advertising and managing relationships with consultants and vendors.

Kriegsman also worked for New York Life Insurance as VP of marketing and advertising. There, he created an in-house advertising and marketing division to support the launch of the first HMO in Texas. He left New York Life to pursue his lifelong dream of having his own creative agency. Marketability focused on a variety of clients including Houston’s Theatre Under The Stars and DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center at Methodist Hospital.

In 2012, Kriegsman relocated to Houston to be closer to family. He joined Baylor College of Medicine where he led the strategic vision and implementation of marketing touch points including advertising, digital vision and development, and marketing research. He served as marketing and advertising advisor to C-level executives and board members. His accomplishments included several innovative programs and digital tools to support consumer, physician and business-to-business objectives including fund development.

Kriegsman now resides in southern California.
